Basic Function:
In close partnership with the VP of Workforce Development, lead semiconductor industry workforce development coordination across New York State, a key part of the Governor's Office of Semiconductor Expansion, Management, and Integration (GO-SEMI). Work with key regional and statewide stakeholders on the alignment and development of workforce development programs for the semiconductor industry. The AVP is responsible for the direct oversight of GO-SEMI's workforce data reporting, staff management and the development of new strategies for industry-driven workforce development.

Minimum Requirements:
Education Level required: Bachelor's degree, or associate degree with four to eight years of equivalent work experience.
Relevant experience required: 5+ years relevant experience required. 7+ years relevant experience preferred. Experience in semiconductor industry and/or workforce development preferred.
Skills required: Workforce development program development, implementation, and evaluation; partnership building; stakeholder and community engagement; government relations; public policy; basic data analysis; problem solving and critical thinking; public speaking; excellent written and oral communication; strong computer skills.
