Position Summary
Thatcher Company is seeking a Compliance Systems Manager II to manage and enhance our Compliance Management System. This role supports investigations, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), change management, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will help ensure regulatory compliance, identify risks, analyze trends, and drive process improvements in a regulated manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include managing complaint, incident, and deviation investigations from intake through closure, conducting root cause analysis and supporting development of effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), administering change management processes, monitoring compliance performance, analyzing trends, and developing key metrics and reports. Additionally, the role involves maintaining compliance system data integrity and audit-ready documentation, collaborating with various departments to support compliance initiatives, supporting audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities, and driving continuous improvement through data analysis and risk-based decision-making.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Compliance, EHS&S, Chemistry, Quality, or a related field, or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will have 8-10+ years of experience in compliance, quality systems, investigations, CAPA, or change management within a regulated industry. Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills are essential, along with experience with compliance, quality, or management system software. The ability to analyze data, develop metrics, and communicate findings effectively is crucial. Strong organizational, collaboration, and project management skills are also required.
Preferred qualifications include experience in chemical manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries, knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO, FDA, GMP, or similar regulatory frameworks, and professional certifications such as ASQ, ISO, or Six Sigma.
