Responsibilities

• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
• Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
• Work with the agent to develop and maintain a digital marketing system to promote the office.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

Requirements

• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Fully state licensed in Life and Health and Annuities insurance and Property and Casualty insurance
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams

• Life and Health license (must have currently)

• Selected candidate is expected to remain current in product changes, licensing, technical developments, and continuing education
• Position may require travel
• Must be available to work the following schedule: Monday thru Friday 9am to 6pm

Our office is located in 6560 Backlick Rd Suite 207 Springfield, VA 22150. Our office is open M-F 9AM - 5PM, Saturday 9AM-2PM, Evenings by Appointment only. We have 35 years of combined insurance experience in our office.
