Job Description
ResponsibilitiesCentral Florida Behavioral Hospital is a -bed, private psychiatric center located in beautiful, sunny Orlando, FL. The hospital provides -hour emergency services. Central Florida Behavioral Hospital offers a full continuum of care including inpatient treatment services for children, adolescents and adults; and partial hospitalization, intensive out-patient and ECT services for adults. Our treatment philosophy is based on a team approach that treats patients with dignity and respect, while delivering high-quality care.
Position Summary
The Financial Counselor is responsible for maintaining records in patient accounting, insurance reimbursement and billing and collection processing. Additionally, this role will be responsible for verifying insurance benefits on all admissions as well as potential admissions; collections with self-pay accounts on the front and back end of a patient’s stay.
