Overview Business Network Consulting (BNC) has been supporting the IT infrastructure of businesses since 1997. We are seeking a trustworthy, dedicated and experienced accounting professional to fill the role of Senior Accountant for our group of operating companies located in Dallas and Denver. Quickbooks Desktop edition and experience with handling multiple integrated organizations are required . As the senior hands‑on accounting lead supporting finance operations, this position plays a critical role in facilitating full‑cycle accounting operations while supporting a dynamic IT consulting environment. This position combines strategic financial management with hands‑on tasks like reconciling bank statements, payroll, benefits, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing reports. Beyond core finance duties, the role requires the ability to foster strong relationships with clients and vendors, while working with regional service managers to ensure client billables are accurate. The Senior Accountant helps support profitability and operational efficiency in a fast‑paced, multi‑regional, collaborative setting. This position manages one direct report; an Accounting & Administrative Specialist based in the Denver office who provides additional finance support functions. The role reports directly to the COO and receives additional directions and guidance from the CEO. This full‑time position requires primary on‑site presence in the Dallas office with an ability for hybrid work from home for one day per week once the core elements of the role are fully grasped. Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Reporting Lead day‑to‑day full cycle accounting for all related operating entities Manage and maintain general ledger Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a monthly basis Close the books, prepare and present financial statements to executives monthly File final financial statements as necessary Accounts Receivable & Payable Monitor aging reports and proactively address outstanding balances Manage A/R, prepare client invoices and manage the collections process Manage accounts payable and liaise with service managers to ensure timely payments Payroll & Benefits Administration Process, coordinate, and ensure accuracy of payroll, including preparing payroll, managing our outsourced payroll provider, and handling all tax and reporting requirements Share in management of benefits and insurance administration Co‑manage 401k program and provider Tax & Compliance Support and coordinate all aspects of sales tax, from setup to collection and filings Work closely with tax consultant, COO and CEO for proper tax planning and preparation Procurement & Building Administration Support financial tracking related to our procurement operation Assist with financial administration of our building entities Leadership & Team Management Remotely manage one Denver‑based direct report who provides accounting and AR/AP support Supervise workload and performance of bookkeeping assistant Foster an outward culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team Other Responsibilities Participate in cross‑functional projects and initiatives as assigned Other finance‑related duties as required Qualifications Required Associate degree or equivalent work experience (required minimum) IMPORTANT: Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (not QB Online) and Microsoft Office 365 Excel Experience working in a multi‑entity or multi‑location environment Ability to handle multiple related entries (cross‑entity journal entries) amongst the various operating organizations At least 3 years of accounting experience focused on AR and AP Excellent communication and customer service skills (phone, email, in‑person) Basic understanding of sales tax strategy and ability to utilize the sales tax module of QuickBooks Desktop Proficiency in other MS Office programs including MS Project, Word, and Teams Strong organizational skills and extreme, unwavering attention to detail Excellent communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment Preferred Experience in the consulting services industry and/or MSP/IT service industry a plus Experience with ConnectWise CRM a plus What We Offer Collaborative, friendly team culture Comprehensive, enterprise‑grade health and related benefits, 401k Three weeks of paid time off each year Stable company with engaged leadership Work Environment / Hybrid Work‑From‑Home Full time, mostly on‑site at Dallas office, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM CT 1 day per week work‑from‑home once the core elements of the role are proven Business‑casual environment within a collaborative IT services company Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $85,000 - $95,000 annually based upon experience Comprehensive benefits package including enterprise‑grade medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
