About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for its Turbine Generator Repairs Division. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the repair operations, including all aspects of steam and gas turbine repair execution and driving customer growth. This executive role demands a deep understanding of the industry market, the ability to drive sales and orders, and a commitment to meeting customer and business expectations. The Vice President will be responsible for strategic initiatives to enhance safety, productivity, quality, and operational excellence. Essential duties include leadership in machining, welding, engineering, and supply chain strategies, as well as fostering industry-leading customer relationships and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Candidates for the Vice President position should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with a preference for industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a direct on-site manufacturing/machining leadership role, particularly in a power manufacturing/machining environment, is required. The role also demands direct involvement in project management, process engineering, and customer engagement, with a focus on OEM and other OEM generator turbine businesses. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, self-motivated, and have a proven track record of driving sales and generating new business in a large, complex, and multinational business environment. Financial stewardship, planning, and reporting skills are essential, as is the ability to lead cross-functional teams and execute company-wide goals.
