The Vice President, Advanced Planning is a client-facing role that serves as a financial planning and estate planning subject matter authority for Fidelity's high net worth clients and their advisors. Depending on our client's needs, the Advanced Planner can deliver point-in-time estate planning guidance and education or lead a more comprehensive financial and estate planning engagement. In addition, the role is supported by a Director, Advanced Planning and an Advanced Planning Analyst, and together as a team will support advanced planning client engagements throughout a geographic region. We primarily use video technology to function remotely in addition to meeting clients and advisors in investor centers across the region. We also collaborate within the Advanced Planning team both virtually and in-person to maintain and increase our collective impact on the clients we serve. Travel is typically expected between 5% and 20% of the time, depending on physical proximity to regional sites and investor centers. The role is remote but does require residing within commuting distance to an Investor Center or Regional Center in the state of Texas.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
