This is a temporary position with the possibility of permanent hire. The Patient Allocation Coordinator coordinates all patient bed assignments. The Patient Allocation Coordinator monitors admissions in the Emergency departments within Mohawk Valley Health System and assigns the admission bed location. Also assigns internal transfer bed assignments and facilitates patient intake from outside facilities for all services offered within Mohawk Valley Health System. The Patient Allocation Coordinator, in coordination with Case Management, will assist in arranging appropriate discharge transportation.
