Intensivist opening in Baltimore, MD Baltimore, MD - Carroll County, Baltimore County, Frederick County, MD Position Details : Full-Time; Hours vary Approximately 13-14 twelve-hour shifts monthly which include a combination of days, nights, and weekend shifts. An average of 4 to 5 nights per month, as full-time night Intensivists do majority of nights. Well-established Critical Care Division presently consists of 11 full-time Critical Care Intensivists and 8 full-time Critical Care Physician Assistants. Provide in-house coverage for ICU patients Enjoy the reward of teaching and mentoring medical students and residents Critical Care procedural skills including central line insertion with ultrasound guidance, arterial catheter insertion, IO insertion, thoracentesis, paracentesis, lumbar puncture, small and large bore chest tubes, intubation, and bedside ultrasound Patient case mix includes both routine / moderate acuity and complex / high acuity patients.
