An established and growing general contractor is looking to add an Estimator to support a strong pipeline of commercial construction projects. This role offers exposure to high-profile bids and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced environment. Client Details Our client is a well-established, privately held general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial and multifamily projects. With a robust pipeline of secured work, they are known for their collaborative culture, long-standing client relationships, and commitment to employee development. The business continues to grow strategically across key markets. Description The Estimator will report into the Preconstruction Manager and play a key role in securing new work and supporting project success. Prepare detailed cost estimates for ground-up and renovation projects Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Collaborate with Project Managers and field teams for cost validation Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies Assist in proposal preparation and client presentations Maintain accurate cost databases and historical pricing Profile For the Estimator role, we are seeking: 3+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction Strong understanding of construction drawings, take-offs, and pricing Experience with estimating software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, etc.) Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills Bachelor's degree preferred (Construction Management, Engineering, or similar) Job Offer Competitive salary + bonus structure Opportunity to work on high-value, complex projects Career growth into Senior Estimator or Preconstruction leadership Supportive and collaborative team environment Long-term stability with consistent project pipeline MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
