As part of the Human Resources Talent team, you will deliver high-impact HR services aligned with our institutional mission, values, and strategic goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

Partner with the Director of Talent Acquisition to support hiring efforts across the university.

Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating search committee activities.

Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth and engaging transition for new hires.

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, compensation, and HR policies.

Coordinate employment documentation such as offer letters, contracts and etc.

Stay informed on HR trends and best practices to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications Notice - Some state job postings say you can qualify by an "equivalent combination of education and experience." If that language appears below, then you may qualify through EITHER years of education OR years of directly related experience, OR a combination of both.

Minimum Education/Experience/Skills - Graduation from a four year college or university; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Knowledge of human resources or a related HR administrative role. Knowledge of HR software and systems. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to organize information, demonstrate attention to detail, and maintain and process accurate records. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse constituents, including employees and HR leadership and exhibit a customer service orientation and professionalism. Ability to handle confidential information reliably.

Work Schedule and Hours - Typical hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some evening and weekend work may be required to meet the needs of the department.
