Job Title: Surgical/OR Tech Profession: MSP Surgical/OR Tech Specialty: Surgical Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Experience: CVOR Pediatric experience, Epic experience License: Nationally certified (NBSTSA) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Required call response time: 30 minutes - Holiday requirement: One major holiday - Call requirement: 10-12 calls in a 28-day schedule period, cardiac call only Description: The Surgical/OR Tech will work in a cardiovascular operating room setting. The shift is Monday through Friday, with four 10-hour shifts. The start time for the shift is 6:00 AM. Required on-call shifts will occur during the week and weekends. Experience in performing pediatric cardiovascular procedures is necessary. Procedures include congenital open hearts such as ASD/VSD repairs, Norwood/Glenn/Fontan procedures, TAPVR, ECMO, central shunts, arterial switch operations, arch reconstruction, valve repair/replacement, and heart transplantation. Floating to areas with similar skill sets may be required, including thoracic surgery.
