Duties and Responsibilities of a Batch Plant Operator
The Batch Plant Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the concrete batch plant in our climate-controlled facility. The Batch Plant Operator will weigh and mix concrete materials and will handle material and operate equipment in order to load batch and test concrete products to meet plan specifications.
In addition to the operation of the batch plant the Batch Plant Operator is responsible for essential housekeeping and the maintenance and repair of the plant and surrounding workspace to ensure safe operations.
Qualifications:
Safety Sensitive Position:
This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work in a heavy manufacturing facility with various safety hazards which are potentially life-threatening to the employee and Team Members without proper safety precautions. This position may require working at heights in confined spaces around heavy equipment and under constantly changing circumstances. This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis. Team Members will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies due to these safety risks.
