This entry-level position consists of the following duties that are essential to operations:Moving inventory and production supplies safely from warehouse to cutting area, assembly floors, office facilities, etcEnsure the safe and timely delivery of materials, employing the highest industry safety standardsPerform quality inspections of materials, ensuring that the delivery is completed as requested and that the order meets company and industry standardsPerform automatic or manual bundling of soft body armor packagesInspects and counts the layers in soft armor packagesAssemble components and/or full vestPack finish goods into boxes following specific set of instructionsInspect items to ensure quality standards are metConsistently and accurately follow the departments Procedures and Work InstructionsAdhere to all safety policies and regulationsConsistently perform at acceptable level. Achieving goals if set.Other duties assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent qualification.Ability to accurately follow instructions and proceduresAvailability to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.Outstanding organizational and communication skills.Must be authorized to work in the United StatesPhysical Demands:Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift up to a maximum of 25 pounds.Standing on hard surface for extended periodsGood manual dexterity to meet job responsibilitiesGood visualization – ability to see details at close rangeHearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for safe conduct on the manufacturing floor and to meet job responsibilities.Work Environment:This job is indoors in a traditional manufacturing/warehouse setting.
