If that is you, then join our dynamic team at Teddy & The Bully Bar, located in the heart of downtown DC at 1200 19th Street NW. We're looking for an experienced Events Planner to coordinate a variety of exciting gatherings, from business and intimate dinners to large celebrations. We currently have over 300 events per year right now with 75% being corporate and 25% private individuals. The position was helmed by one person for over 15 years who has just left the company. This demonstrates the outstanding opportunity this position offers.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements
Generate New Leads and maintain exisitng ones
Plan and execute events ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. This includes writing banquet event orders, consulting with Chef de Cuisine and ownership.
Manage budgets, timelines, and client relationships
Overseee on site logistics and staff coordination including on site supervision.
Develop promotional materials and marketing strategies for events at the restaraunt. This includes concierge outreach, business to business outreach, social media and internet marketing and outside networking events.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in event planning, preferrably in the restaurant and hospitality industry.
Competant sales professional with experience in food, wine & beverage sales
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confident, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Required Licenses:
ABCA (Alcohol Beverage and Cannabis Administration) license preferred but not required
DC Food Handlers License preferred
