Description: As a Relationship Banker you will hold a key position within our bank responsible for establishing and nurturing customer relationships opening and managing accounts and driving business growth through referrals to various sales departments. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service and expanding the banks client this role you will be the face of the bank responsible for fostering strong customer relationships meeting their financial needs and driving business growth through referrals. Your ability to understand and respond to customer requirements will contribute to the banks success and reputation within the community. In addition to being a Relationship Banker this role emphasizes adaptability versatility given the crucial objective in maintaining service consistency and operational efficiency across the region. You will be required to fill in seamlessly at any branch within the designated region providing exceptional customer service and supporting branch operations as needed. Responsibilities that we would like for you to be excited about:

1. Develop and maintain strong trusting relationships with customers.
2. Safely and accurately handle cash coins and negotiable instruments following established cash-handling procedures while simultaneously accurately processing a wide range of banking or teller transactions including deposits and withdrawals adhering to established procedures and regulatory guidelines.
3. Open and service various types of checking and savings accounts utilizing tools and resources to document all services completed on our customers accounts.
4. Hold conversations with customers to understand their current and future financial needs to identify opportunities to make product recommendations.
5. Provide exceptional service through our SWARM Banking approach which involves greeting customers by name and greeting them as they walk into our lobbies.
6. Help build the business by contributing toward monthly sales and service metrics.
7. Refer customers to specialized departments such as mortgage wealth management and insurance.
8. Onboard our new customers through our follow-up routines to ensure the customers successful use of our products.
9. Utilize technology to educate customers on our full range of digital banking including but not limited to virtual tellers our mobile app and safe online banking habits. Be a point of contact for customers facing technical issues/difficulties with our digital banking tools.
10. Other Duties as assigned
11. Fill in as needed at various branches within the region to support daily operations.
12. Assist branches within the region during peak times staff shortages or special events.

Experience and Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma required
• 4 year degree strongly preferred
• 3 years of cash handling experience strongly preferred
• 2 years retail banking experience strongly preferred
• 3-5 years of customer service or sales experience required

Qualifications that would be a plus:

• Experience in opening accounts for Small Business customers

Work Hours:Hours will vary depending on location assigned. Consistent weekend availability on Saturdays during the hours of 8:30am 1:00pm. Extracos Investment in You:
