To support the modernization of payment systems, the long-term contract Lead API Developer will design, develop, and migrate APIs and microservices to AWS, working remotely during EST hours. Key responsibilities Design, develop, and support secure, scalable APIs and microservices for Payments and Money Movement platforms Participate in migrating APIs and integration services from on-premises to AWS cloud-native architectures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions Required qualifications Experience in the payments domain, specifically with ACH and Real Time Payments Proven AWS cloud migration experience and knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, and DynamoDB Strong background in API development, particularly with Java and Spring Boot Hands-on experience with event-driven solutions using technologies like Apache Kafka and Amazon SQS Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform
