Overview As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to increase student count, ensuring each student grows, develops, and enjoys playing music while upholding our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

Responsibilities Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
Teach students using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
Assist with customer service as needed to build and maintain long-term student relationships by creating a great experience.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Student & Parent Partnership Collaborate with students and families through frequent communication, building trusting relationships, and incorporating parental insights.
Communicate progress of each student to students and / or parents.
Share student goals and progress with parents and students regularly.
Requirements Experience in Music, Education, or a related field.
Ability to teach the instrument(s) in which the candidate is proficient (e.g., drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.).
Demonstrated competency and proficiency in the area to be taught.
