IT Manager - Corporate

IT Leadership, Project Oversight & Department Alignment

Partner with IT leadership to oversee operations, strategy execution, project priorities, and department initiatives. Support planning, prioritization, decisions, and clear communication of risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs. Translate strategy into executable plans with defined scope, ownership, timelines, milestones, and success measures.

Team Management & Performance Leadership

Manage IT Operations team goals, performance, coaching, development, service quality, and operational outcomes. Establish, update, document, and enforce IT standards, policies, procedures, and best practices. Support workforce planning, skills development, succession planning, and team accountability with IT leadership. Resolve complex personnel, performance, operational, and service delivery issues. Model clear communication, constructive feedback, conflict resolution, and team engagement.

Infrastructure, Security, Documentation & Policy Oversight

Ensure systems are resilient, scalable, secure, documented, and aligned with business requirements. Lead improvements to IT documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge management practices. Oversee patching, vulnerability management, access controls, security monitoring, audits, and compliance support. Drive periodic review and modernization of IT policies, procedures, controls, and service standards. Support root cause analysis, remediation tracking, and continuous improvement of operational practices.

Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

Ensure backup, replication, recovery, and continuity processes meet business requirements. Provide leadership during major outages, recovery events, and post-incident reviews.

Operational Support & Escalation

Provide escalation guidance for high-impact or complex issues. Support the Help Desk through troubleshooting guidance, standards, and knowledge sharing. Promote consistent, high-quality IT service delivery across the organization.

Stakeholder Collaboration, Communication & Relationship Management

Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs and operational impacts. Communicate status, risks, decisions, dependencies, and expectations to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification preferred. Five years of relevant IT support work experience. Three years managing direct reports.

Required Skills/Abilities: Advanced computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of various operating systems, security access, operations security, and database services. Knowledge and understanding of enterprise, network, systems/endpoint, application and data protection issues and security risks. Well-developed leadership skills in a matrix organization structure. Ability to work effectively within a culturally diverse environment. Ability to understand and lead technical resources. Ability to work independently and with a high degree of professionalism. Naturally curious, self-driven and motivated to meet goals and objectives. Strong communication, organizational, and listening skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on deadline and with variable hours. Solid time management, organization, and prioritization skills. Flexible, open to the evolution of processes and new information; adapts behavior and work methods accordingly.

Salary Range: $110,000 to $140,000
