Descripción del trabajoActive RN licensure in New Mexico required. Graduate from an accredited nursing program. ACLS and CPR certifications are required. PALS and NRP certifications are preferred. Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU - Full Time
MLR is seeking a full-time, permanent Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a premier healthcare facility near Prewitt, NM!
Key Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU :
- Provide exceptional post-anesthesia care, focusing on patient safety and comfort during recovery.
- Full-time, direct-hire position within the PACU department.
- Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts, with no on-call duties.
- Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and assess for any complications after surgery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the care team to ensure smooth patient recovery.
- Educate patients and their families on post-op recovery and home care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation, adhering to hospital protocols.
