Cloud Demand Manager
We are seeking a Cloud Demand Manager to oversee the end-to-end demand intake process for Internal Cloud Platform services. This role is responsible for the evaluation, normalization, and prioritization of service requests. You will be accountable for generating accurate demand forecasts and ensuring alignment between demand, platform capacity, funding models, and delivery constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the demand intake process, including evaluation and prioritization.
- Produce accurate demand forecasts for cloud platform services.
- Align demand with platform capacity, funding models, and delivery constraints.
- Own and maintain the demand management process, intake criteria, and reporting cadence.
- Analyze intake requests and model their impact on capacity.
- Maintain demand backlogs and integrate demand data into planning and governance workflows.
- Collaborate with finance, governance, and platform teams to translate demand into actionable plans.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 45 years of experience managing demand intake, prioritization, or portfolio planning for shared technology services.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with experience in modeling capacity constraints, utilization, and delivery trade-offs.
- Familiarity with cloud or infrastructure consumption patterns.
- Experience working with finance, governance, and platform teams.
- Cloud Demand Management, Capacity Planning, and Financial Management skills are essential.
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira.
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL Demand or Financial Management certification.
- 5-7+ years supporting infrastructure or cloud portfolio management.
- Experience with capacity planning tools or service portfolio platforms.
- Exposure to virtualization or platform capacity modeling.
