Assistant to the Executive Director (Hybrid Position)
River Deep Foundation is seeking an assistant to the executive director to help with Programs and Fundraising and Operations.
This is a position that will assist in all areas of the non-profit both with running our programs and helping with our fundraising and day-to-day operational needs.
We are looking for a utility player, someone who feels strongly about the populations we work with. This person needs to be motivated, positive, independent thinker, flexible with both duties and hours.
Working hours will follow our outings/fundraiser schedule which includes weekends this portion of the role requires you to be in person supporting the events/outings and cannot be performed remotely. Database management can be completed remotely on a more flexible schedule.
Duties will include but not limited to the following:
- Programs
- For full schedule of current outings, please see our calendar: River Deep Foundation outings program
- Fundraising
o In person attendance & facilitation at the majority of local outings is a requirement
o Coordinate & facilitate outing program logistics food, lodging, etc.
o Program follow up report write ups, layout and sharing (remote)
o Assist with client outreach and sign-ups
o Assist where needed during outings
o Assist where needed with tracking success of programs
o Help ideate and plan new fundraising campaigns and opportunities.
o Help plan fundraising events/campaigns
o Manage donor database and assist with other data entry
o Assist with marketing fundraising events
o Attend and assist at fundraising events
Skill requirements:
- Google Workspace Drive/Docs
- Experience managing Excel spreadsheets
- Database management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Generally tech-savvy and comfortable using/learning online tools
Benefits
This is a part-time position paying $23-$28/hour. No other benefits offered.
