Your Role as a Nocturnist : Oversee and manage the care of hospitalized patients overnight, working in collaboration with specialists and the daytime hospitalist team. Respond to ER calls and admit patients at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center from 7 PM to 7 AM (schedule coordinated within the team). Perform in-house coverage, ensuring optimal patient care and timely decision-making. Communicate effectively with PCPs and specialists to ensure continuity of care. Transition care efficiently to the daytime hospitalist team. Participate in hospital committees, quality initiatives, and KSC Internal Medicine Department activities.
