Associate Vice President Of Client ImplementationThe Associate Vice President (AVP) of Client Implementation is a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the vision for the organization's implementation services. This role drives operational excellence, ensuring seamless onboarding and integration of client solutions while maintaining a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. The AVP oversees end-to-end implementation processes, establishes best practices, and fosters cross-functional collaboration to deliver successful outcomes that align with organizational goals. Acting as a key partner to senior leadership, this position ensures the department's core functions are executed effectively, positioning the organization for long-term success and growth.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesServe as a hands-on leader by overseeing and, when necessary, directly executing complex client implementations to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the Client Implementation team, driving employee development, performance management, and adherence to best practices in implementation processes and procedures.Maintain strong partnerships with Regional Sales Leaders, regularly reviewing pipeline and forecast reports to anticipate incoming deal flow and allocate resources effectively.Act as the second-level escalation point for client issues, ensuring timely resolution and managing internal troubleshooting to maintain service excellence.Collaborate with the VP of Client Implementation to assign new clients within designated regions, ensuring quality control, adherence to timelines, and successful onboarding outcomes.Support new hire screening, onboarding, and training initiatives, while leading ongoing coaching and development sessions to build team capability and engagement.Actively participate in leadership meetings, translating strategic objectives into actionable plans and ensuring the department meets or exceeds performance targets.Oversee multiple concurrent implementation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, service standards, and client expectations.Manage escalations, resolve complex implementation issues.Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, risk profiles, resource needs, and client?readiness.Help communicate and implement organizational changes impacting client implementation processes.Step in for the VP of Client Implementation during absences to maintain continuity of operations.Some domestic travel may be required to attend team onsite meetings, client visits, customer events, industry conferences, and training sessions. This may include air travel, ground transportation (including cars, taxis, or rideshare services), and in some cases potential public transportation.Regular, on-site attendance is an essential job function due to the need for secure access to systems, collaboration on sensitive technical matters, participation in operational meetings, and hands-on involvement.Marginal FunctionsBuild, maintain and promote relationships with team members, peers across disciplines, and all other company team members ensuring effective coordination of communications and services affecting clients.Attend webinars and training to stay up to date on best practices related to the company and department.Support cross-functional initiatives or pilot programs related to client onboarding or process improvement as assigned by senior leadership.Participate in client-facing events, industry conferences, or internal committees as needed to promote best practices and organizational visibility.Complete projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDemonstrates in-depth understanding of HR outsourcing models, PEO operations, compliance requirements, and best practices for delivering integrated HR, payroll, and benefits solutions.Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of delivering clear, concise, and professional messaging to clients, team members, and stakeholders.Maintains exceptional accuracy and attention to detail while performing key administrative and operational tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.Builds and sustains trusted client relationships, providing consultative guidance and tailored solutions that align with client needs and business objectives.Demonstrates strong leadership by setting clear direction, inspiring teams, and driving alignment with organizational goals.Skilled in coaching, performance management, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous growth.Demonstrates outstanding team-building skills, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the implementation team.Skilled in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting HRIS platforms and CRM tools to support client onboarding, data integrity, and workflow automation.Possesses advanced knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and multi-state compliance to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution.Applies strong analytical capabilities to interpret client data, identify discrepancies, and develop actionable solutions that improve accuracy and efficiency.Effectively manages multiple complex implementation projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and meeting strict deadlines without compromising quality.Delivers clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication to clients and internal teams, including training, documentation, and status updates.Education & ExperienceBachelor's Degree or minimum of 5-7 years related experience required or equivalent combination of experience, skills, education (including other relevant non-traditional degree programs, or job training programs) preferred.4+ years of management/supervisory experience.HRIS/CRM/Systems experience preferred.Proficiency in CRM tools and basic data analysis.Experience with PrismHR or similar platforms preferred.Experience in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) and demonstrated ability to learn other applications as neededRequired Licenses And/Or CertificationsFPC, PHR or related certification preferredPhysical DemandsSedentary Work: Occasionally involves sitting for extended periods, often at a desk or computer.Manual Dexterity : Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.Mobility: Some travel to meet with clients, attend conferences, and conduct other business needs. May occasionally have moderate noise level from copiers, W2 or check printers, and coworkers. May work in various additional environments, including client offices, industry conferences, customer events, and training sessions. This means adapting to different settings and conditions regularly. This role may involve extended periods of sitting during travel and meetings, as well as standing and walking during client visits and events.
