Job details :

Job title : : Maintenance Technician

Duration : : 1 Year (Possible extension)

Location : : Fort Wayne, IN 46808

Shift : : 1st Shift - Monday - Friday (7 : 00AM - 3 : 00PM)

Essential Functions

  • New equipment installation, CNC troubleshooting and repair, hydraulics, automation, and PLC controlled equipment.
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing the mechanics of production-based equipment.
  • Ability to read hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical prints.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders.
  • Fabrication of machine guards, work platforms and other items used in the manufacturing process.
  • Thread, crimp, and install pipe used for steam, gas, water, air, and liquid.
  • Use of a wide variety of precision measuring instruments for exacting measurements.
  • Close all work orders assigned to in Emaint each day accurately and timely.
  • Follow all Safety policies and procedures.

Skills

  • Machining Operations (turning, milling, hobbing)
  • Grinding Operations
  • Heat Treat Operations
  • Assembly Operations (light pressing, gaging)
  • Welding Operations (Arc, Mig)
  • Machine Repair / Hydraulic expert preferred.
  • Valid Journeyperson card or 8 years of practical trade-related experience

    • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to occasionally sit, crawl, reach, twist, push, pull, grip, pinch, crouch / squat, forward bend, forward sit, forward stand, and climb stairs / ladders.
  • Ability to frequently stand and walk.
  • Ability to exert light lifting and carrying under 25 lbs up to 33% of the time.

    High School Diploma Or GED
