About CrowdSync

CrowdSync is a live event technology company specializing in interactive LED lighting products and crowd engagement experiences for concerts, festivals, arenas, and large-scale events.

We're looking for an experienced, highly organized Warehouse & Operations Manager to oversee our equipment, inventory, quality control, and day-to-day warehouse operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a background in professional lighting, AV production, or live event technology who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and knows how to keep things running smoothly.

This will be a onsite in person role at our operations warehouse in Downtown Brooklyn.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, preparing, and shipping equipment.
  • Manage inventory tracking systems to maintain accurate records of all equipment, road cases, accessories, and supplies.
  • Track road cases and equipment coming in and going out for events, ensuring everything is accounted for.
  • Maintain an organized, efficient warehouse with clearly labeled equipment and designated storage areas.
  • Coordinate equipment returns, inspections, repairs, and restocking following events.

Quality Control & Equipment Preparation

  • Lead quality control procedures to ensure all equipment is fully tested, functional, and event-ready.
  • Oversee equipment preparation, packing, labeling, and shipment verification.
  • Identify damaged or malfunctioning equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements.
  • Develop and maintain checklists and standard operating procedures for equipment testing, packing, and returns.
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring equipment arrives at events complete and ready for deployment.

Logistics & Event Operations

  • Coordinate closely with logistics partners, shipping providers, and event production teams to manage equipment deliveries and returns.
  • Plan equipment movements across multiple simultaneous events, often with tight turnaround times.
  • Quickly troubleshoot last-minute equipment, shipping, or scheduling issues.
  • Ensure shipments are properly packed, documented, and dispatched on schedule.
  • Work with internal teams to forecast equipment needs and maintain availability for upcoming events.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage warehouse staff, establishing clear expectations, accountability, and efficient workflows.
  • Train team members on equipment handling, QC procedures, inventory tracking, and warehouse safety.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage resources effectively during high-volume periods.
  • Continuously improve warehouse systems, processes, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience working in professional lighting, AV production, live events, or a related technical equipment environment.
  • Previous warehouse management experience
