Caregiver – Dementia/Memory Care
Embark Care is hiring two experienced caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care for a client in Avery, TX. This client receives care seven days a week, and we are looking for dependable caregivers to cover the weekday and weekend schedules.
Available Positions & Schedules
Position 1 – Weekday Caregiver
Monday–Friday
10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
40 hours per week
Position 2 – Weekend Caregiver
Saturday & Sunday
10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
16 hours per week
Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
Applicants may be considered for either schedule based on availability. Additional assignments may be available in surrounding areas for caregivers interested in more hours.
Responsibilities
Provide companionship, supervision, and support for a client with dementia/memory care needs
Assist with daily living activities according to the client's individualized care plan
Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
Maintain a safe, comfortable environment
Monitor and report changes in the client's condition or behavior
Communicate with agency staff regarding care needs and concerns
Requirements
Previous verifiable caregiving experience required
Dementia/memory care experience REQUIRED
Ability to provide patient, compassionate care to individuals experiencing memory loss or confusion
Dependable attendance and ability to follow an established care plan
Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
Valid driver's license required for most agency assignments
Transfer equipment experience preferred for additional assignments
Benefits
