Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level to senior Structured Finance Associate to join their Asset-Based Finance and Securitization Practice in New York City, NY. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth of a strategically important practice area within the firm.

Duties

• Structure complex asset-based transactions and execute financings and securitizations.
• Advise originators and issuers on accessing private capital through various financial instruments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address structuring, regulatory, tax, and governance considerations.
• Manage document drafting and transaction processes as a key member of deal teams.

Requirements

• Admitted to, and in good standing with, the bar of the state of practice.
• Substantive experience in structured finance, securitization, and/or asset-based structured finance.
• Experience with ABS, CLOs, CFOs, and/or rated facilities preferred.
• Exposure to fund finance, special situation financings, and private credit transactions is beneficial.
• Availability to work in person and comply with firm policies.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant state.

Skills

• Strong document drafting and transaction management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
