Insight Global is seeking a PMP-certified Project Leader to manage cross-functional initiatives at its high-volume tire-building facility in Woodburn, Indiana. This role focuses on driving operational excellence through automation upgrades, IT integrations, and process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability. The Project Leader will oversee end-to-end project management, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards while delivering measurable results such as improved cycle times and yield rates.
ey Responsibilities
- Lead multiple projects involving automation, IT infrastructure, and process optimization for tire-building operations.
- Develop and execute detailed project plans, manage budgets, timelines, and risks.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors for on-site implementations with minimal production disruption.
- Monitor KPIs (e.g., OEE, downtime reduction) and report progress to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and knowledge transfer within the PMO.
Qualifications (5–7)
PMP Certification with proven experience in large-scale manufacturing or industrial projects.5+ years of project management experience , preferably in automotive or tire manufacturing environments.Strong knowledge of automation systems, PLCs, IoT integrations , and IT infrastructure upgrades.Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 standards , and OSHA / EPA compliance.Proficiency in MS Project, Jira, and Power BI for planning and performance tracking.Excellent leadership and communication skills for managing cross-functional teams and vendors.Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment and adhere to strict safety protocols.Compensation :
$46 / hr to $50 / hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
