Schedule Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts from 18 : 45 to 07 : 15. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in medical-surgical care to join our team on the 4th floor focused on neurosurgical and medical patients. The role involves caring for patients undergoing neurological surgeries and managing various neurological diagnoses. Responsibilities Monitor and manage patient care following general and neuro-specific protocols. Administer medications, including Heparin and Insulin, and manage IV therapies. Provide pre and post-operative care for neurosurgery patients. Engage in cardiac monitoring and respond to emergency situations, including the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Implement isolation precautions and provide wound care. Support interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and rapid response teams, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with neuro experience preferred. Current certifications : BLS and NIHSS are required. ACLS and CPI are preferred. Proficient in the use of Epic charting system. Experience in telemetry and understanding of isolation protocols. Why ARMStaffing?
