Accounts Receivable Representative

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative II (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable for assigned payers, including collections and follow-up on outstanding accounts

Review and process claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with billing regulations

Document billing activities and monitor claim rejections for trends, reporting findings to departmental leaders

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent certification required; associate degree preferred

2 to 4 years of customer service and / or business office experience preferred in a medical setting

Knowledge of basic patient accounting processes and healthcare terminology strongly preferred

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel

Ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
