Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional customer service by adhering to Lowe's customer service policies and procedures.
- Build strong relationships with vendors, ensuring merchandise resets are executed according to specifications.
- Collaborate with the Merchandising Service team and management, effectively communicating project priorities and needs.
- Analyze metrics and provide constructive feedback on project execution and in-store service.
- Although direct customer interaction will be limited, engage with customers as opportunities arise by:
- Understanding their needs and assisting in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
- Responding knowledgeably to customer and employee inquiries and guiding them through the store.
- Show sincere appreciation to customers.
- Communicate product information clearly, including stock availability, special orders, features, benefits, application, and warranty details.
- Merchandising Duties
- Execute merchandising tasks such as moving stock, building displays, and utilizing power equipment.
- Identify and remove damaged products, ensuring they are logged and sent to the Return to Manufacturer area.
- Prepare buyback items for shipping and ensure correct pricing and signage are displayed.
- Update signage and validate product location information throughout the store.
- Optimize product placement to enhance sales opportunities.
- Coordinate with store leadership on clearance and damaged merchandise.
- Maintain proper product organization in bins and boxes.
- Fill plant racks according to standards and maintain plant displays.
- Store Cleanliness and Safety
- Complete required documentation for merchandise tasks, including service details and photographs.
- Ensure all display items are safe and in good condition.
- Address cleanliness by removing trash and organizing materials.
- Replace light bulbs and report maintenance issues.
- Recognize signs of theft or security risks and report promptly.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a secure work environment.
- Operate necessary store equipment safely.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Ensure accurate pricing labels are displayed in-store in compliance with pricing policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 months of experience on the sales floor at Lowe's.
- 6 months of experience with product merchandising, including reading planograms and setting up displays.
- 3 months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
Pay Range: $16.90 - $17.20 per hour. Starting pay may vary based on factors such as position, location, education, training, and experience.
