Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift
JOB SUMMARY:
The RN Patient Experience Coach is responsible for supporting system-wide programs, initiatives, projects, and interventions focused on ensuring that our customers' experience is consistent, seamless, and exceptional. This role provides a unique opportunity for an experienced nurse to employ his or her clinical expertise and passion for patient-centered care towards providing others with the support and coaching necessary to improve patient experience in their respective areas. This is an expert-level individual who delivers employee training curriculum.This individual will also drive the development of activities and provide continuous feedback to improve the employee, patient, guest, and physician engagement across the health system.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
·Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required. Master’s degree in nursing, healthcare, marketing, business or related field preferred.
·Minimum of 7-10 years in healthcare, including 5 years in an acute care setting.
·Current Georgia or Compact Registered Nurse license required. APP/NP Advanced Practice Registered Professional Nurse, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Physician’s Assistant, or Clinical Nurse Specialist preferred.
·Demonstrated leadership and project management ability with cross-functions teams, and success managing change. Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role highly preferred.
·Able to take and compose meeting minutes, create and maintain spreadsheets.
·Must have attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
·Demonstrated excellent written/oral communication including presentation skills.
·Strong technical skills including computer proficiency, demonstrated ability to understand and apply mathematical, quantitative and statistical concepts to make evidence-based decisions and drive change.
·Ability to work independently, with minimum direction, and solve complex problems.
·Able to interact professionally and effectively with a wide variety of people, including operations staff, providers, the general public and departments in Grady.
·Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build productive relationships with broad range of employees, managers, and customers.
·Demonstrated judgment and ability to work effectively with a diverse population of staff, patients and families.
·Experience with process improvement initiatives in a clinical setting to improve and sustain patient satisfaction. Working knowledge of and experience with continuous process improvement methodologies and tools such as PDSA/PDCA, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.
