About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Head of Global Translational Medicine & Research. This pivotal role involves leading a large, multidisciplinary team of scientists to drive translational impact across a diversified pipeline of antibody formats, mechanisms of action, and indications. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and scientific leadership, overseeing the development and implementation of biological mechanisms into actionable hypotheses, and supporting data contextualization for regulatory submissions. Additionally, the role requires the championing of novel technologies, external engagement with key opinion leaders, and a strong focus on team development, including promoting scientific and leadership growth.
Candidates for this role at the company should hold a PhD or MD / PhD in a relevant scientific field, with 15-20+ years' of drug development experience in biotech or pharma. A proven track record in influencing drug development decisions and experience in leading large, global teams is essential. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, science-driven leader with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, committed to scientific excellence and innovation. The role demands a strategic thinker who can foster a culture of collaboration, productivity, and inclusivity, and who is adept at grappling with the unknown to drive innovation.
