Descripción del trabajoLevel II Trauma Center Bed : 411 Beds : Varies, based on unit Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? No, 2 years Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes Multispecialty Critical Care patients : Medical / Surgical / Cardiac / Neuro / Ortho / Trauma / Interventional Common diagnoses included but are not limited to : Stroke, ICP monitoring, EVD Drains, spinal precautions, DKA, Sepsis, Multisystem trauma, COVID, STEMI, NSTEMI, Heart failure No more than 6 days of RTO (no holidays) is accepted at this time Neuro and Trauma experience is an absolute must Weekend rotation : Every other Day shift : Sat / Sun Night shift : Fri / Sat On call? No Holiday Expectations : No RTO accepted for Holidays Approval of RTO : to go through manager Shift times : see posting ICU Float Pool RNs could float to ER Hold / Obs and care for MedSurg level patients there and Stepdown units – this can happen as often as is needed 2024-25 Flu Documentation Annual Core Competencies Criminal Background Check Report Drug Screen Emergency Contact Info Sheet HealthStream & PromisePoint Job Description – Facility Medication Exam N95 Respirator Questionnaire NIH Stroke Scale
Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $3,047 per week at Eastern Maine Medical Center summary :
Travel Nurse RN in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides critical care to diverse patients including those with medical, surgical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma conditions. Requires at least two years of nursing experience in a trauma environment, familiarity with various critical care procedures, and adherence to strict patient care protocols. This position offers a competitive weekly salary and a rotating weekend schedule with potential floating to other units as needed.
Certification Details
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
- Patient Ratios : 1 : 2, based on acuity. May get 3rd patient as one is being downgraded
- ED Hold / Obs : 1 : 4-5, dependent on acuity
