We are an industry-leading provider of automated warehouse and material handling systems seeking an experienced Lead Technician and Millwrights to join our travelling installation team for projects across the United States and Canada.
These positions involve the erection, alignment, assembly, installation, and testing of heavy-duty automated systems such as stacker cranes, conveyors, and material handling machinery. Projects typically last from 2 to 12 months and require precision installation work with heavy duty industrial components.
- Location : United States (travel required coast to coast, including Canada)
- Salary Range : $70,000 – $95,000 per year (depending on experience and education)
- Schedule : Full-time, day shift with OT| Long-term site projects (2–12 months)
- Travel Package : Flights, accommodations, company vehicle, tools provided, cell phone, laptop, and $75 / day per diem
- Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with 6% company match, 15 vacation days, 10 sick days, paid holidays
- Overtime : Paid at 1.5x
Key Responsibilities
Lead or assist in the installation and alignment of automated warehouse systems.Assemble, adjust, and calibrate mechanical, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical components.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.Supervise, train, and coordinate technicians and subcontractors on-site.Operate hoists, cranes, and power tools to safely move and position machinery.Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.Manage on-site logistics, materials delivery, and project documentation.Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.Serve as the on-site technical point of contact for customer and project teams.Your Profile
Proven experience as a Lead Technician, Millwright, or Industrial Mechanic in automation, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery environments.Strong hands-on skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.Experience installing automated storage / retrieval systems, packaging lines, or large-scale automation equipment.Excellent blueprint reading and troubleshooting skills.Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.Comfortable working at heights and in dynamic industrial settings.Valid driver’s license and passport required (frequent North American travel).Technical diploma, trade certification, or equivalent experience preferred.Company Description
