Are you a Family Practice Physician looking for a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in Washington State? A highly regarded outpatient clinic near Toutle, WA, is seeking a dedicated physician to join their team. This is an excellent chance to work in a fast-paced community health setting, providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.

Position Details :

  • Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (40 hours per week). No call required.
  • Contract Length : 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
  • Start Date : As soon as credentialed.
  • Patient Volume : Up to 21 patients per day, across all age groups (neonates to geriatrics).
  • Support Staff : Includes a dedicated medical assistant, receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, and on-site pediatricians.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide outpatient ambulatory care, including family medicine, chronic disease management, and walk-in / acute care services.
  • Perform basic procedures, such as injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care.
  • Deliver culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population, including migrants and refugees, with access to on-site interpretative services.

    • Requirements :

  • Licensing : Active Washington State license and DEA required.
  • Board Certification : Must be board-certified in Family Practice.
  • Experience : Minimum of two years in a family medicine setting with recent face-to-face patient contact.
  • EMR : Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred.
  • Vaccination : COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required.
  • Language Skills : Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus but not required.

  • Competitive hourly rate
  • Travel and lodging expenses covered, including flight, rental car or mileage, and accommodations.
  • Orientation provided with a ramp-up period; expected to begin patient care by Day 3.
