We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Estimator to join our team. This role is integral to our construction projects, as you will be responsible for producing detailed and accurate estimates that will drive the success of our operations. You will be involved in a wide variety of projects, ranging from residential builds to large-scale commercial developments. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional looking to take their career to the next level in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Responsibilities :

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and performing quantity take-offs for all cost components.

2. Evaluating and presenting or defending estimates in front of clients, stakeholders, and project managers.

3. Collaborating with architects, engineers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors on project cost estimates.

4. Analyzing and comparing bids from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring they meet project specifications and budget requirements.

5. Preparing and maintaining a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.

6. Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to improve estimating processes.

7. Managing multiple estimates simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.

8. Assisting in the negotiation of contracts and bid proposals.

9. Participating in project update meetings and providing cost-related input.

Qualifications :

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.

2. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.

3. Proficiency in estimating software and other construction-related software.

4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.

5. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

6. Superior attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work under pressure.

7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present estimates to a variety of audiences.

8. Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing profitable contracts.

9. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

10. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
