Experienced Travel Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery needed for a contract position at Mercy San Juan Medical Center. Eligible candidates must hold BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN, and preferably STABLE certifications, along with an active California nursing license. The position offers a contract length of 13 weeks with 12-hour shifts and a focus on providing comprehensive care in a Family Birthing Center.

Job Details

Experienced Labor and Delivery nurses needed for a travel contract at Mercy San Juan Medical Center.

Candidates must have 2 years of experience.

Job Requirements

Active BLS certification required.

Active ACLS certification required.

Active NRP certification required.

Active AWHONN certification required.

Active STABLE certification preferred.

Active California nursing license required.

Schedule Information

Contract length : 13 weeks.

12-hour shifts starting at 6 : 45 AM.

Every other weekend required.

Holidays rotate with core staff.

Self-scheduling used, finalized by manager.

Schedules available 4 weeks in advance.

Unit Specific Information

Unit : Family Birthing Center - L&D and Mother Baby Ante / Post.

Charge Nurse generally does not take patients but provides break relief.

Additional Details

Candidates must provide 2 supervisory references at submission.

Modules required to be completed before assignment start (3-4 hours, not billable).

Hospital designated as 'baby friendly' with excellent breastfeeding support.
