Jr Developer Intern

Job Summary

This Junior Developer Intern position works with the IT team at CalPortland. The role provides hands-on experience supporting and improving system integrations, with exposure to real-world projects and legacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical writing and documentation for legacy integrations
• Participate in ongoing integration projects and support development efforts
• Help troubleshoot issues that arise, including triage and resolution support
• Work on improving and maintaining existing integrations
• Assist with troubleshooting and reverse engineering legacy integrations
• Learn about CalPortland, its systems, and the building materials industry

Education

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug / alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
