Duties / Responsibilities :

• Organize the purchase execution through experience with ERP / MRP Systems with PO placement and confirmation.
• Analyze MRP exception reports (pull, push, cancel) and reschedule previously released orders to respond to changes in the Master Production Schedule or customer demand.
• Verifies demand and compares standard cost / quoted job cost to the supplier pricing. Mitigates price increases, negotiates price decreases.
• Expedites material from suppliers to meet the master production plan.
• Maintain material due dates for upcoming and past due needs.
• Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered and resolves shipment discrepancies from suppliers.
• Comply with Company SOP’s.
• Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
