We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 96-day locum tenens assignment in Maine, starting on Oct 28, 2025. This role features a four-day workweek with ten-hour shifts, focusing on providing comprehensive primary care in a community health setting.

Schedule : Tuesday - Friday, 7am to 5pm

Responsibilities and Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical exams.

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.

Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate follow-up care.

Prescribe medications, therapies, and other interventions as needed.

Provide patient education on disease prevention, wellness, and treatment options.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Participate in community outreach and wellness programs.

Additional Information

Required Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS)

EMR System Used : eClinicalWorks

The ideal candidate will have outpatient primary care experience, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
