As our Community First Teller, you will :

Provide exceptional, WOW service to internal and external members

Receive cash and checks for deposit into members accounts

Cash checks for members

Accept loan and credit card payments

Make transactions between accounts as instructed by members

Place proper holds on deposited items for uncollected funds following CFCU policy and procedure

Handle proper disbursement of cashier's checks, money orders, and gift cards

Identify non-negotiable and fraudulent checks to avoid losses for the member and the credit union

Accurately balance and close cash drawer at the end of each business day

Promote, cross-sell, and refer credit union products and services to fulfill member financial needs

We are open in the driveup from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and open in the lobby from 8 : 30 to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and from 8 : 30 to 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. On Saturdays, we are open in both the lobby and the driveup from 8 a.m. until noon. The schedule for this position encompasses our hours of operation, including a rotating Saturday morning.

An ideal candidate will have a combination of :

A high school diploma or equivalent

At least one year of cash handling experience; previous Teller experience is a plus

Excellent listening ability and verbal communication skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and web-based software packages

Passion for providing outstanding service to our members

The ability to work hard, find solutions, and have fun
