Descripción del trabajoProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols. Communicate clearly with team members and site management regarding incidents, observations, and any security-related matters. Support access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site protocols. Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations or medical incidents, following Allied Universal and site procedures. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all incidents, patrols, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Pepper spray certification is preferred. Baton certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Professional U - Transportation Institution - Full Time
As a Security Professional U in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned transportation locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to the public. Your presence and attentive customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and respond promptly to situations as they arise. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
