Job Details – PACU RN Travel Assignment

Location : Denver, Colorado 80218

Healthcare Setting : Pre-Op and PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Start Date : December 8, 2025

End Date : March 9, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 9 : 00 AM – 9 : 30 PM (12-hour day shifts)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1470 - $1570

Unit Details : Brand new, 15-bed pre-op bays with PACU overflow

PACU RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Colorado or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in pre-op or PACU nursing

Proficiency with pre-op processes and surgical documentation

Strong IV start skills and ability to discharge post-surgical patients

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work efficiently

Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude

PACU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to pre-op and post-anesthesia patients

Assist with anesthesia blocks and monitor patients throughout the perioperative process

Initiate IVs and ensure thorough, accurate documentation

Safely discharge patients and provide comprehensive post-operative instructions

Work closely with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain compliance with all hospital and unit policies
