Position Overview

The Division of Gynecologic Oncology (GYN ONC) at the University of Louisville is seeking an additional fellowship-trained physician to join our faculty. The role involves providing clinical services at University Hospital, our outpatient office, and outreach hospital sites.

The downtown office hosts our Minimally Invasive Gynecology (MIGS), General OB / GYN, and Maternal Fetal Medicine practices, while our East End location includes our Female Pelvic Medicine & Women's Health (FPMRS) Division and Pelvic Pain Center. GYN ONC provides inpatient and outpatient surgical services at various hospitals, including University Hospital, a Level III facility, and has access to multiple infusion sites through our Cancer Center.

Research opportunities include :

• Access to basic science labs
• A departmental statistician
• A departmental librarian
• Campus grant-writing services
• A clinical trials unit with research nurses, if funded

The university offers access to robotic surgery, with one of the busiest programs in the region and the latest robotic technology. There is also potential collaboration with the upcoming VA Hospital, which has an established GYN clinic and an underutilized Xi robot.

This position offers the opportunity to become Division Chief and potentially develop an ACGME-accredited fellowship. No obstetrical call is required. The university values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
