Descripción del trabajoGraduate of an accredited nursing program. Current NY State RN License required. BLS certification required. Cardiology experience preferred. Minimum 1 year of medical office or clinical nursing experience preferred. PC / CRT data entry or EMR experience preferred. Strong communication, patient interaction, and assessment skills. Provide direct patient care in an outpatient cardiology setting. Perform patient intake, assessments, and vital signs. Assist with cardiac-related procedures, testing preparation, and follow-up. Support providers during exams and treatments. Administer medications as ordered and monitor patient responses. Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications. Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR. Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up appointments. Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and clinical team members to optimize patient care. Maintain compliance with practice policies, safety guidelines, and professional nursing standards.
