Descripción del trabajoPerform analysis and designs of commercial, residential building projects, telecommunications structures and other types of structures. Perform complex engineering calculations by hand or by utilization of computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Enercalc, Bentley System programs and other finite element analysis software. Work to develop deliverables such as structural design drawings and calculations packages using Microsoft Word, AutoCAD, Revit and other computer software. Assist in the development of engineering tools to effectively manage the analysis and design process. Responsible for visiting job sites to observe construction work or to gather field data for renovation projects. Effectively interact with the client and monitor project timelines and project deliverables to ensure client satisfaction. Document accurate analysis results and prepare reports and letters for delivery to the client. Work respectfully with architects, contractors, and other clients and employees in our office, at a client’s office or in the field. Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in structures, from an ABET accredited institution. Strong understanding of design codes and regulations for buildings and towers. Strong understanding of steel, concrete and wood design principles. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or able to legally work in the Unites States. Candidates should have excellent communication and organization skills and should exhibit a high level of self-motivation and productivity. Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus. Experience : A minimum of three (3) years of building design experience preferred
