About The Position

• Previous charge experience
• Experience in long term care
• Required experience with IVs, PICC lines, and wound care

Description :

Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR) is required for this unit and all RN units.

Utilization of AIDET and hourly rounding are required for all RN units.

This position may require floating to different units as needed.

Weekend coverage is expected every other week.

This role is suitable for first-time travelers.

A patient ratio of 1 : 20 with one RN per hall and a medication technician per hall is maintained.

On days, there will be 1 CNA for every 8-10 patients and 1 for every 20 patients on nights.

Experience working in rehabilitation is preferred.

The RN will be responsible for tasks including accurate patient identification and medication administration.

Assessment and management of various health conditions, including diabetes, dementia, and coping with end-of-life care, will be integral to this role.

Additional responsibilities include wound assessments and care, administering treatments, and monitoring patient vital signs.

All RNs will be required to sign an attestation confirming their awareness of reporting and rounding requirements.

Interdisciplinary support will be available, including physical therapy and pharmacy services.

Candidates must complete all compliance requirements within specified timelines.
