ER RN Job Details – New Jersey Healthcare Jobs

Position Type : Per Diem, On-Site

Location : Flemington, NJ 08822 (New Jersey nursing jobs)

Unit : Emergency Department (ED)

Pay Rate : $81.84 per hour

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $660-$690

Minimum Commitment : 2 shifts per month

Duration : 1-year contract

Scrub Policy : Any color scrubs (clean and neat)

Flu Immunization : Mandatory unless medically exempt

Cancellation Policy : 2-hour notice

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in emergency or acute care settings

Active New Jersey RN License required (must be in hand at time of application)

BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (current)

Ability to float between units and adapt quickly to changing environments

Strong communication and teamwork skills

ER RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department

Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced healthcare setting

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform emergency interventions

Accurately document patient care according to hospital policies

Float to other hospital units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
